Instructors nationwide dream of engaging curriculum and robotics programs. And July is the month to make those dreams come true with Pitsco Education and LEGO Education teaching resources. Those dreams need be realized because, as Poet Langston Hughes wrote, you must "hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is like a broken-winged bird that cannot fly." Though funds might be lacking and belt tightening is the mantra for education, at the same time, the U.S. Department of Education is demanding better programs and seeking more efficient ways to tabulate results. An opportunity to salve some of the national quest rests, for example, in the acquisition of Pitsco Education Algebra and the WeDo™, NXT, and TETRIX^® robotics systems. More elaborate pursuits could include a variety of STEM curricula from aerospace to engineering to water quality.

Should the variety of federal Title sources or district dollars be in short supply, the following private foundations could provide the answer for those who dream. Dreamers must, as Hughes stated, "hold fast – for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow."
