LEGO^® Education and FIRST

The LEGO^® Education and FIRST^® relationship was cemented on a common philosophy: well-thought-out, hands-on activities that motivate students will create a fertile environment for learning.

Together, we strive to inspire young people by engaging them in exciting learning programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills. It is our hope that this engagement will encourage innovation and foster the essential skills needed for these students to become the leaders of tomorrow.

LEGO Education is the founding partner for FIRST LEGO League and is a sponsor and the official parts supplier of Jr. FIRST LEGO League, FIRST LEGO League, and FIRST Tech Challenge. Additionally, we provide product and program support to teams and event staff when needed.

For the first time in our partnership history, LEGO Education is involved in every FIRST competition. Beyond being a partner and parts supplier for Jr. FIRST LEGO League, FIRST LEGO League, and FIRST Tech Challenge for the competition season spanning 2010-2011, LEGO Education is also a part of the FIRST Robotics Competition, providing teams an optional collection of TETRIX^® parts that can be used to score additional challenge points.
