Homeschool educator Joelle Cowan incorporated the Simple Machines Set and Activity Pack into her daughter Soleil’s third-grade science curriculum. Science is a frequently discussed topic for Joelle and her husband, who both have technology backgrounds. Often their dinner table discussions turn into topics like the Leidenfrost effect or the law of thermodynamics. Joelle was pleased to find a way to incorporate science-oriented LEGO® projects into Soleil’s schoolwork.
