New Set Encourages Student Centric Learning

In this Simple Machines video, students share what they’ve learned while using the new LEGO^® Education Simple Machines Set and how they are applying that knowledge.

Additionally, their teacher speaks to why she added the set to her classroom curricula and how students not only became eager learners, but were also able to retain information better than in previous paper and pencil methods.

Using the Simple Machines Set, students encountered challenges around simple machines concepts like gears, wheels and axles, pulleys, and levers. They used critical thinking to solve problems and teamwork to improve their communication skills.
