One of LEGO Education’s newest products, the 9632 Science & Technology Set is designed to foster scientific inquiry among your students while they learn about forces and motion, simple machines, energy, magnetism, and more. One of the neatest innovations introduced in this sets are
the revamped building guides. Instead of one guide for each model, this set has two. Students working in pairs work independently to build half of the model, and then they bring their parts together to create the full working model. This process increases the time spent on task for
each student, while decreasing the time necessary to build a finished model – what an excellent idea for the classroom!
Along with the set, LEGO Education has developed a complete activity pack (sold separately), with twelve 45-minute lesson plans and additional open-ended challenges. The activity pack comes in a 3-ring binder and includes a CD-ROM with all the printed materials as well as short animations designed
to pique your students’ interest and jumpstart their problem-solving as well. Want to learn more about this new set? Contact your local LEGO Education Consultant or call 1-866-349-5346 to speak to an in-house LEGO Education consultant.
