Robotic Science & Data Logging

How do you turn your NXT robot into a powerful scientific instrument? By using the new Science & Data Logging Activity Pack, of course!

Designed by the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Academy to work with the NXT Temperature Sensor and new LEGO^® MINDSTORMS^® Education NXT Software 2.0, the Science & Data Logging Activity Pack offers four real-life science activities and one research project.

The pack is designed to support classrooms with little or no NXT experience and provides up to 25 hours of instruction. Teacher lesson plans, answer keys, and quizzes are all included.

Students investigate the concepts of heat, light, sound, and motion by tapping into the sensing, recording, and motor-control capabilities offered through the pack's activities.
