Searching for Energizing Entries!

The 2010 LEGO Smart Creativity Contest is underway!

What does sunlight, wind, rain, and geothermal heat have in common? They are all suitable topics for this year’s LEGO®  Smart Creativity Contest!

 


The 2010 LEGO Smart Creativity Contest challenge, to create a classroom lesson about renewable energy that uses LEGO elements to construct an object students will be studying, was announced on August 2, 2010, and will accept entries from the 20,000 pre-registered contestants until November 5, 2010.

 


One Grand Prize Winner and two (2) first-place winners will be selected in each category:
Lower Elementary (K-2)
Upper Elementary (3-5)
Middle School (6-8)
High School (9-12)

 


Prizes will consist of LEGO Education gift certificates and a LEGO Smart classroom pack valued at $500 for first-place winners and $1,000 for each Grand Prize winner! In addition, all winners will have their LEGO Smart Lessons displayed in the Activities section of the LEGO Education North America website.
