How to Enable JavaScript in Your Browser
Introduction
JavaScript is required to experience many of the basic features of this site, including searching, ordering, and many browsing tasks. To ensure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser, click the appropriate link in the menu and follow the instructions. (See also Cookies).
Internet Explorer 5.x-7.x
If you’ve been directed to this page, it’s probably because JavaScript is disabled in your browser. JavaScript is required to experience many of the basic features of this site, including searching, ordering, and many browsing tasks. Follow the instructions below to enable JavaScript.
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Internet zone icon, and then click Custom Level.
- In the Security Settings window, scroll down to Active scripting and click Enable.
- Click OK at the bottom of the Security Settings window.
- Click OK at the bottom of the Internet Options window.
Mozilla Firefox 1.x
If you’ve been directed to this page, it’s probably because JavaScript is disabled in your browser. JavaScript is required to experience many of the basic features of this site, including searching, ordering, and many browsing tasks. Follow the instructions below to enable JavaScript.
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- In the Options window, click the Content icon.
- Check the Enable JavaScript check box. (It should be filled with a check mark.)
- Click OK at the bottom of the Options window.
Netscape Navigator 8.x
If you’ve been directed to this page, it’s probably because JavaScript is disabled in your browser. JavaScript is required to experience many of the basic features of this site, including searching, ordering, and many browsing tasks. Follow the instructions below to enable JavaScript.
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- In the Options window, click the Site Controls icon (looks like a shield).
- If you’re using Netscape’s customizable settings feature (under the Site List tab), add this site to your list of trusted sites.
- Click Add Site.
- In the Add Site Settings window, enter www.SiteName.com (replace SiteName with name displayed in the address bar) next to Domain.
- For Initial Trust Setting, select I Trust This Site.
- Click the Add Site button.
- Then, make sure the I Trust This Site setting enables JavaScript. (more info)
- If you’re not using Netscape Trust Ratings, then make sure the default Trust Setting enables JavaScript.
- Click the Global Settings tab.
- If Do Not Use Netscape Trust Ratings is selected, notice what the default setting is – I Trust This Site, I’m Not Sure, or I Don’t Trust This Site.
- Click the Site List tab.
- Follow the instructions To Enable JavaScript for a Trust Setting. (more info)
- Click OK at the bottom of the Options window.
To Enable JavaScript for a Trust Setting:
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- In the Options window, click the Site Controls icon.
- Under Master Settings, click the desired trust level – I Trust This Site, I'm Not Sure, or I Don't Trust This Site.
- Under Web Features, check the Enable JavaScript check box.
- If you plan to order on this site, you’ll also need to enable cookies. Do this by checking the Allow cookies check box.
Netscape Navigator 7.x
If you’ve been directed to this page, it’s probably because JavaScript is disabled in your browser. JavaScript is required to experience many of the basic features of this site, including searching, ordering, and many browsing tasks. Follow the instructions below to enable JavaScript.
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
- In the Category pane, click the arrow next to Advanced to expand the menu.
- Click Scripts & Plugins.
- Under the heading Enable JavaScript for, check the Navigator check box.
- Click OK at the bottom of the Preferences window.
Opera 7.x-9.x
If you’ve been directed to this page, it’s probably because JavaScript is disabled in your browser. JavaScript is required to experience many of the basic features of this site, including searching, ordering, and many browsing tasks. Follow the instructions below to enable JavaScript.
- Select Quick preferences from the Tools menu.
- Check the Enable JavaScript check box in the pop-out menu.
- While you’re at it, consider checking the Enable cookies check box as well. Cookies are required for ordering on this site.
Safari for Mac

- Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
- In the Security window, check the Enable JavaScript check box.
- If you plan to order on this site, you’ll also need to enable cookies. To do this, select any option other than Never next to Accept Cookies.
- Close the Security window.
Firefox for Mac
